For this latest in the blog's series of Self-Portrait Days -- which is based on an idea by distinguished local Steven Trull and uses images* provided by distinguished local Mbuitron -- you are asked to choose one (or more) of the images you see below and then use that image or those images as the inspiration or basis for a piece of writing or an artwork. If you choose to write, the work can be a short story, poem, prose poem, fictional paragraph or sentence, work of non-fiction, song lyric ... anything you like. If you choose to turn your image(s) into a visual artwork, any medium and anything else goes just so long as the work can be sent to me for posting on the blog either as a jpeg or gif or, if you choose to make a video, either via an imbedding code or a link to where the video can be watched. You should send the piece of writing or art that results from this assignment, indicating in some way which image or images you have used, to contact@denniscooper.net. The deadline is your bedtime in your time zone on next Monday, March 30th. Everyone is welcome to participate in this SPD whether you're a regular commenter, a lurker, a new reader, or a complete stranger. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the Comments section or via email. Thanks a lot in advance for your participation.
* If you're interested, the images come from the Thematic Apperception Test, and more info on the TAT is here.
